The Learning Commons (TLC) supports all students who strive to do academic work that is imaginative, well-organized, accurate, and memorable.

W Tutor Anne Gregg '25

Anne Gregg is a Senior English Writing Major and Film and Media Arts Minor. When she's not tutoring at the writing center she is working as Editor-in-Chief of DePauw's literary magazine A Midwestern Review.

W Tutor Vanessa Torres '25

Vanessa Torres is a Mexican-American woman from Indianapolis aspiring to be a journalist and novelist. Outside of class, she dances for La Fuerza Latina and is the Public Relations Chair for the Committee of Latinx Concerns where she actively works to bring various Latinx cultures to the forefront.

W Tutor Quan Nguyen '25

Quan Nguyen is an Education Studies & Economics double major from Vietnam with an interest in multicultural education and education equality. On campus, he is also a Management Fellow, Daily Writer at The DePauw newspaper, and a former member of the X-Cell Dance Team.

W Tutor Abby Fathauer '25

Abigail Fathauer is an English Literature major with minors in World Literature and Art History. When she's not in the Learning Commons, she is editing for The DePauw or catching up on her ever-growing TBR pile!

The Learning Commons includes three Centers:

Writing (W)        Quantitative Reasoning (Q)       Speaking and Listening (S)   

W, Q, and S Tutors are ready to provide you practical suggestions, feedback, and encouragement.
