Computing Opportunities for Students of Color (COSOC)

The organization establishes a strong foundation and community for future POC [People of Color] interested in Computer Science. The organization provides mentorship and support for potential computer science majors, pairing younger students with upper-class students who have experiences to share. Along with mentorship, COSOC hosts opportunities for members to network with partnering companies (e.g Eli Lilly, BCforward) and research institutions such as Indiana University. COSOC seeks to change computer science culture at 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ, allowing POC's to share the advantages that their peers enjoy

Committee for Latino Concerns (CLC)

"The Committee for Latinx Concerns is a student organization open to ALL 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ students. CLC, through positive outreach, strives to offer students an open, safe, and fun atmosphere. We lead DePauw to an understanding of different Latinx cultures by diversifying and educating the campus with creative activities. Committed to collective leadership and active responsibility for change, CLC combines open-minded interaction with a drive for success."

DePauw China Connection (DCC)

As one of the earliest clubs established at DePauw, DCC aims to create a second home for students from China and help them succeed in both social and academic life. Activities are designed to build up a tight relationship in DePauw Chinese students. Also, DCC aims to connect Chinese students’ community to the DePauw community and raise awareness of Chinese identities and culture on campus by celebrating Chinese traditional festivals, providing decent Chinese food and recreational activities.

The name of this organization is 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ Elite Precizion. A stepping organization for both steppers and non-steppers alike. We will introduce a new skill to those who have no experience as well as create unity and fun through learning steps. Hearing Using Hands (ASL Club)

"Hearing Using Hands is DePauw’s American Sign Language Club. Founded in 2019 during the pandemic, our organization started working hard to expose our campus to Deaf Culture and American Sign Language by providing safe and educational spaces for interested or experienced peers to come together to appreciate the language. A safe community built through radical inclusivity + education. The goal of the House of Opulence is to cultivate a safe and respectful community, addressing the unique issues impacting the queer, LGBTQIA+, and trans community on 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ’s campus by creating a surrogate-family structure that promises radical acceptance. Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS)

We provide underrepresented pre-med students with knowledge and experiences that are prerequisite and concomitant to professional participation in the medical field. We work hard to help our members achieve their goals of gaining acceptance into medical school, diversifying the medical workforce and becoming culturally competent physicians.
