Psychology and Neuroscience
Dr. Nipun Chopra is a graduate of 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ ('06) and received his PhD training from the Indiana University school of Medicine, with a focus on Medical Neuroscience. During his PhD work, his research focused on identifying microRNA that regulate key proteins involved in Alzheimer's disease.
During his subsequent post-doctoral training, he studied how neuroinflammation plays a role in the short and long-term effects of traumatic brain injuries.
His research interests include identifying microRNA that are implicated in Alzheimer's disease and traumatic brain injury.
Outside of science, Dr. Chopra is a soccer journalist whose work has been published on sites such as Four Four Two, World Soccer Talk, Soc Takes, etc.
