Sherry J. Mou received her Ph.D. in Classical Chinese Women’s History from The Ohio State University.  She teaches Chinese literature, culture, and language in the Asian Studies Program and is currently the director of Asian Studies Program and the coordinator of the Chinese program.  She has also taught courses at the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Honor Scholar programs.  She has published articles, reviews, and translations in both English and Chinese on Chinese literature, pedagogy, and films. She is the editor of Presence and Presentation: Women in the Chinese Literati Tradition and the author of Gentlemen’s Prescriptions for Women’s Lives: A Thousand Years of Biographies of Chinese Women.  She is current working on a Reacting to the Past game manual based on an episode from Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
