The International Admission Intern position is a professional role designed to give DePauw students a glimpse of what it is like to work in Admissions and the Higher Education sector. Successful interns are passionate about DePauw, communicate well and enjoy meeting and interacting with students and families of diverse backgrounds. Our interns are available to assist incoming international students navigate DePauw application process.
Kanyanat Sunchatavirul Lead International Admission Intern
Sawadee ka! My name is Kanyanat Sunchatavirul, but you can call me Noinah. I am a third year international student from Bangkok, Thailand majoring in computer science. In addition to being the lead intern from the International Admission Office, I am working as a STEM Guide for computer science courses and a S-tutor for the Speaking Center. I am also a member of the DePauw Women’s Basketball team. Outside of class, I enjoy reading online comics & novels, watching animation movies, listening to K-pop music, and hanging out with friends during my freetime. I am frequently spotted around the Lilly Physical Education and Recreation Center, but I absolutely enjoy spending time at the Union Building common room. DePauw campus is incredibly lovely, and you can discover something unique every place you go.
DePauw's strong community has captivated me since the first day I became a student and I hope that through this internship opportunity, I will be able to pass on the same experiences I've gained to incoming students. Dahye Seo International Admission Intern
Hello! My name is Dahye (Jessica) Seo. I am a third-year international student from South Korea but I grew up in Japan. I am double majoring in Neuroscience and Global Health with a Psychology minor. On campus, I am involved in the International Admission Intern Program, KDA (Korean DePauw Association), and J-club (Japanese Club). What I like most about DePauw is its welcoming community, where students are fully engaged and included. In my role as an International Admission Intern, I would like to help prospective students learn more about DePauw and enjoy being a student here.
Besides campus involvements, I like reading a book, listening to music, watching a movie, and playing instruments. I also like going to Scoops for ice cream and going to the football field to see the sky. DePauw has provided me with a great experience both academically and socially. I am excited to spend more time with my friends and professors for the rest of my years at DePauw. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!
