Important Financial Aid Dates

See the deadline to apply for need-based financial aid based on your admission round below, as well as when admitted students can expect to see their financial aid notification by:

Should you miss your priority deadline, please complete your financial aid application as soon as possible.

Steps to Apply for Need-Based Financial Aid

  1. Create FSA IDs for you and at least one (custodial) parent. These separate usernames and passwords will be used to complete and sign the FAFSA. See the Federal Student Aid's guide to for detailed information.听Please note that it can take up to three days for an FSA ID to be confirmed before you can use it to complete your FAFSA. Your FSA ID can be set up any time.
  2. Complete your聽聽to determine additional financial aid eligibility, including federal and state grants, loans and work study. DePauw's Federal School Code is 001792.

Important note for Indiana residents: The State of Indiana requires filing the FAFSA by April 15th in order to be eligible for state financial aid.
