Tax Information for Charitable Gifts

State of Indiana tax credit
Indiana taxpayers may take a tax credit of 50% of their gift to 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ. For a joint return, the maximum credit is $200, based on gift of $400 or more. For a single return, the maximum credit is $100 (based on a gift of $200 or more). The payment of tuition, fees, or room and board are not charitable contributions and do not qualify for this credit.

After you make your gift to DePauw, you will only need to complete one simple form—. Attach this form to your Indiana income tax return for the tax year in which you made the gift.

This form is for computing credit for contributions to colleges and universities located in Indiana. This schedule, or a statement showing the same information, must be attached to the contributor's income tax return.

69É«ÇéÊÓƵ's first 180 years have been a continuing evolution and maturation process. The Inclusive Excellence Initiative at DePauw provides opportunities to support diversity and inclusion efforts impacting students and our campus community.

Tiger Club

The Tiger Club generates financial support specifically for 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ’s 23 varsity sports programs. Gifts made to the Tiger Club provide the necessary funds to improve and maintain the quality of athletic equipment and facilities, while also impacting the ability to recruit and retain student-athletes of the highest caliber.
