Teaching Interests

Alicia supports classes and research conducted in science, technology, engineering, and math. This includes classes such as: computer science, global health, biology, psychology, neuroscience, linear algebra, sustainability, and more.

Professional Experience

Alicia worked as a library assistant at Ivy Tech Community College for two years and as a librarian at Johnson County Public Library for one year. Additionally, she has professional experience in non-profit environments including: academic enrollment, database management and migration, Greek life membership, events, development and donor relations, and technology troubleshooting.

Service and Leadership

Alicia is currently a member of the American Library Association and their affiliated association CORE (Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures). She also represents DePauw's Libraries on DePauw's Library and Technology Committee and collaborates closely with an external organization called InDiPres.

Other

Additional Responsibilities: A large portion of Alicia's professional position at DePauw is providing systems support to the libraries. This includes troubleshooting broken links, coordinating projects and system migrations, implementing new tools, and assisting different departments in their own internal workflows.
