DePauw Wind & Percussion Day 2024

Enjoy a day of music with the 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ applied music faculty on our beautiful campus in Greencastle, Indiana! Attendees will take part in master classes with our world-class instrumental wind and percussion faculty, participate in a large ensemble experience (which will include learning about conducting, large ensemble performance techniques, and repertoire selection), enjoy lunch in our expansive Hoover Dining Hall, take admission walks around campus, and a have a personal Q & A session with our applied faculty.Ìý

The 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ School of Music welcomes all interested high school woodwind, brass, and percussion students to participate in our inauguralÌýWind & Percussion Day!Ìý We recommend registering early to ensure a spot in this exciting new event.

Registration: $30.00 per student

8:30–9 amÌý Registration
9–10 amÌý Welcome; Introduction of APPLIED FACULTY and events for the day; mini-recital with faculty and/or select students
10–11 amÌý Master class #1
11 am–NoonÌý Ensemble experience:Ìýconducting, performance techniques, and repertoire selection
Noon–12:30 pmÌý Lunch at Hoover Hall
12:30–1:20 pmÌý Admission “walks"
1:30–2:30 pmÌý Master class #2
2:30–3:30 pmÌý Q & A with faculty panel/wrap-up
