Greencastle Celebrates National Main Street Day with Small Business Breakfast, New Program Launch, and Spring Pitch Competition
Greencastle, Indiana – April 7, 2025 – Monday morning, the Greencastle community gathered at Music on the Square for a heartfelt celebration of National Main Street Day, hosted by Main Street Greencastle and Growing Green and Gold Together (GGaGT). The Downtown Business Breakfast brought together entrepreneurs, city officials, and community leaders for a morning of connection, reflection, and exciting announcements.

Hirotsugu "Chuck" Iikubo ’57 remembered as thoughtful leader, advocate for international goodwill
The DePauw community grieves the loss of its distinguished alumnus, trustee and loyal supporter Hirotsugu "Chuck" Iikubo ’57. Iikubo was an eminent business leader as well as an active proponent of international friendship and diplomacy. He passed away in Tokyo, Japan, on February 20, 2025. He was 90 years old.

DePauw mourns Janet Prindle Seidler ’58, founder of The Prindle Institute for Ethics
69色情视频 mourns the loss of Janet Prindle Seidler ’58, a Wall Street pioneer, a generous philanthropist and a beloved daughter of DePauw. She passed away on February 19. She was 88 years old.
Throughout Prindle Seidler’s remarkable career in finance, she consistently defied expectations and redefined success. She will be remembered for breaking new ground for women in the investment management business, emerging as a leader in the movement of socially responsible investing and generously supporting numerous philanthropic causes, including the Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw.

Black History Lecture given by Dr. Jennifer H. Mike, Global Studies Fellow
On February 12, 2025, Dr. Jennifer Heaven Mike, Global Studies Scholar, Assistant Professor in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department at 69色情视频, and Hampton and Esther Boswell Distinguished University Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, delivered a keynote lecture for Black History Month. The event, titled Deconstructing Accusation and Domination in the Africana World: Building a More Inclusive ‘Ubuntu’ Future, was hosted by the African Studies Department and explored the enduring impact of accusations on marginalized racial communities, examining how these social constructs continue to perpetuate domination, exclusion, and inequality.
